Vos Transport Deventer has appointed a new General Manager. As of 01.06.2009 this position is held by Jules Menheere. Mr. Menheere takes the position of C. Vos who will remain linked to this company as adviser. C. Vos, former joint owner of Harry Vos transport in Oss, bought Vos Transport in Apeldoorn in 1997, after having sold his shares in Harry Vos transport to his brother (1994). In 2006 Vos Transport moved from Apeldoorn to Deventer. Jules Menheere has over 20 years of experience in the transport sector. During the last 3 years he worded for the British P & O Ferrymasters. For this company he held the position Manager Contract Logistics. The future management of Vos Transport consists of Jerome Vos ( operational manager) and Jules Menheere (general manager). The will also be the owners of this company. Vos transport has over 150 trucks and over 200 trailers. The main office in Deventer has a warehouse of about 10.000m2. Besides, Vos has a branch in Apeldoorn (2000m2 pilot area) . Both warehouse and fleet are extremely modern. The fleet consists for over 90% of Euro 5 motors. Vos Transport is both specialized in distribution within the Benelux and in international transport of complete- and partial freights from and to Scandinavia, UK and Germany. Supported by a good IT-system, good employees, emphasizing quality, reliability and maintaining good relations with her customers Vos Transport, under her new management, wishes to continue growing within the chosen core activities.
