On 22nd September 2009 Vos transport Deventer entered into an agreement with Eska Graphic Board. Vos will take care of transporting cardboard to several countries in Europe. Regarding such large projects, issues like customer contact and service are extremely important. Vos Transport has therefore decided to open a branch in Groningen. Besides Eska Graphic Board also other local customers will be served from this branch. In the meantime employees have been appointed and office space has been rented. From 1st October the new branch will be active. The office in Groningen will mainly serve the market from North Holland to complete Western and Eastern Europe. Despite of the recession, Vos Transport experiences a steady, planned growth. Recently the company announced that, after having purchased 25 DAF’s in order to replace and expand the fleet, her complete fleet now exists of trucks with Euro 5 motors. The fleet consists of 150 units. From way back, the company is active in the Benelux, Scandinavia, UK and Germany. Both complete and partial freights and/or groupage are transported. In Deventer, the company has a warehouse of about 10.000M2; the greater part of the shipments is grouped here. Vos Transport cooperates with reputable agents in countries where Vos Transport is not represented. Thanks to the new branch in Groningen, Vos Transport will serve the rest of Europe in future as well.
